Orange Money, now available in Morocco

Since March 10, 2020, Orange Money is now available in Morocco, as a means of payment and money transfer.  For the strong sub-Saharan communities established in Morocco, sending money home has always been an obstacle course. The Kingdom of Morocco becomes the 18th country in Orange’s Africa and Middle East zone to offer this service. Launched in Cote d’Ivoire in 2008, Orange Money, according to the Orange operator, has 45 million users in 2019 and transfers on its platform have reached 2.6 billion euros.
